Every hero has their own role to guide their team to victory in the Trials of Strife. It is possible for a hero to play more than one role.

TankEdit

These heroes focus on being the center of attention to absorb damage instead of their allies. These heroes are usually the initiators of team fights, so they can soak up the damage of enemies spells so teammates don't have to worry about dying quickly. They have a very high survivability.

ItemsEdit

Tanks buy items that boost their health and their armor stats. This allows them to take more damage and effectivelly play the role of a Tank. They don't need to focus on power, but it can help enhance their ability as a Tank. 

HeroesEdit

Attack DamageEdit

These heroes focus on bursting their auto-attack damage to take down their foes. They rely on high power and fast attack speed. These heroes require a lot of farm (gold) to buy the items as fast as they can to increase their power the earliest they can.

ItemsEdit

These heroes buy items to increase their power and attack speed to maximize their damage output. They generally require more gold than other heroes to play their role the best they can.

HeroesEdit

Magic DamageEdit

These heroes focus on Ability Damage, rather than attack damage, to take down their foes. They also rely on high power to get the most damage out of their spells. Abilities can range from single-targeted to area of effect spells. These heroes are generally the primary source of damage and excel holding down a lane.

ItemsEdit

These Heroes buy items that increase their power to do the most damage with their spells.

HeroesEdit

Crowd ControlEdit

These Heroes displace enemy movement, meaning they can move enemies around against their will or even just slow them. They can usually start most team fights by initiating with a slow, stun, or hook. These heroes are great at ganking.'

ItemsEdit

These Heroes can focus on a variety of items ranging from health and armor to power upgrades. 

HeroesEdit

SupportEdit

These Heroes can determine a win in a team fight. They can heal and shield allies, aswell as slow and stun enemies. They don't have high damage abilities, but they certainly can put an enemy in a bad situation.

ItemsEdit

These Heroes usually buy items to slow, weaken, or immobilize enemies. They also buy upgrades to enhance the power of their shields and heals.
